Car Insurance Myth #1

Truth:  OK… Read carefully…. RED CARS DO NOT GET MORE TICKETS!!  If your agents asks you what color your car is, it’s just because they are jealous that you drive a Cherry Red Mazaratti!    The color of your car has absolutely nothing to do with your rates.  The make and model do, and how you drive it, yes, but the color, no.

Thanks for hanging in with me as we reviewed the top 15 car insurance myths!  If you have any questions let me know.  :)

Truth: There are so many factors that influence your auto insurance rate, there is not enough room for me to list them all!  Your driving history is a a big part of it.  So is your age, type of car, credit, where you drive, theft rate in your area, grades if you are a student or insure one…. The list goes on and on.

Comprehensive insurance covers mechanical problems.

Truth:  Nope.  But that would be really cool.  Your comprehensive coverage takes care of many things, like theft, vandalism, falling items and glass.  Mechanical failure is still on you.  Don’t forget that oil change!
